Summah Update

Every time I look to post on my blog, I feel guilty for not keeping this updated more. Photos above are a dump of tattoos from the past month and a couple fun projects.

-Finished a new hand painted Welcome sign for Marcus Kuhn

-Tattooed at Open Road in Dover, NH with Jimmy Tats for the Search and Destroy Skate Event

-Finally finished the winter truck project with my dad and got the 1948 Ford Truck on the road for the summah

Thunderbolt at Funtown USA

Brad and I painted the Thunderbolt at a local amusement park here in Maine last week. They wanted to spruce it up with something new and improved. Sticking with the same theme, we came up with a sketch and popped this stuff up there. Good times, but I got to say I would much rather make my loot doin' tats or cutouts. Spray painting is good in small-couple hour sessions only once in a while. When it becomes work, i kinda dont like it at all....

Grindin' out lots of new stuff lately.. Also workin' on painting some new flash for the shop in between tattooing and spending time with the family.
Man, this winter is gettin' old. I'm missin' texas all the time!! We cant wait for warmer days. Maine is a hard place to live after livin' in austin, Texas for sixteen years. CABIN FEVER has set in. One more month and things will be on the up and up. If you live in Maine, you have to talk about the weather at least a few times a day or shit aint right?

We are in the process of a new project, woodcutouts.com. Online ordering is coming soon.
Kelly Edwards, Mike Belzel and I are moving forward with getting the "cutouts" we've been developing since 2003 available to the masses. "Like" the facebook page to keep up to date on the progress. I also created a facebook page for the shop. "Like" that too for up to date info on the shop.

Another one bites the dust

Can you believe its 2011? WTF, time flies. So much went down in December. It feels like a year ago already, jeesh! Got to see one of the good ole boys at the beginning of December. Ajax was in town for a day or two. So good to see him doin' his thing. While he was in town, we went to a local event called Photo a go-go. Suprisingly, it was a good time that led into a great time, all the way till bed!

December is always a busy month with work and holiday parties. To top it all off, we had plans to fly out to Austin on Xmas night . That made for an extra hectic couple of weeks that included family parties, shopping and all the christmas BS.

We ended up in Austin on the 26th of December for a week seein' the homies and doin' some work at Diablo Rojo.

It had been years since I came back home to Austin. It was amazing to see everybody and just chill with the wifey. ATX is my second home. I lived there for 16 years and it's always is in my thought process.

So now it's 2011 and we're back to snowy-ass Maine for a few.
